To be a kid again....

Remember the day's...when baking with mom in the kitchen meant this ~

I remember my mom baking & I couldnt wait to lick the beaters...Now I get to let my little one experience the same joys!

And remember falling asleep in your high chair ... OK, maybe not --- but this was still precious! Morgen doesn't do this often, so when her eye's closed last night at the dinner table I had to get a picture. (She doesn't normally eat with no shirt on, but we had stuffed green peppers with some ketchup on it, and I didn't want it on her onsie...didn't affect her falling asleep!)

And here are a few more from the past week or so. Nothing too big has been going on. Getting prepared for the holiday's along with everyone else. The shopping is done, presents are wrapped & cards are all out, so today I got to enjoy a little baking....

Nothing special in these pictures...just updates for myself. I think I was trying to get Morgen walking again, but this is what I got. She was not impressed that I put this band in her hair...I do remember that about this photo.
JaCee is still working through Christmas. She yells for me at night when she gets up to go to the bathroom at night again. We were out of that routine for a few months --- but after the 1st few nights of her telling me Santa was in her bedroom, I figure I'll just be getting up with her at night until she forgets about Christmas. Which might be a while because she still asks me to go Trick or Treating once a week...and that was 2 months ago!!! We went to look at Christmas lights the other night & one of the houses we went to had a LIVE Santa --- who was dressed up in full suit who came out to every car who pulled up & gave a big HO-HO-HO & handed out Candy Canes. JaCee is just a tad bit to short to see over the side of the car door, but when he came up to her window which Matt had rolled down...well...I'll just say screaming is an understatement!!!! She was hysterical. The "Santa" was very nice & backed up & told me if I came once a week for the next few weeks she would get better about Santa. Hmm....he was very nice, I will say that. He gave us some Candy Canes, which JaCee mustered "THANK YOU" and Good-bye Santa as he walked away! It was a priceless memory I will not soon forget.
